CAST: Moira Kelly as Dorothy Day, Martin Sheen, Heather Graham, Melinda Dillon, Brian Keith, and Lenny Von Dohlen as Forster Batterham

"Entertaining Angels" is a biographic film about Dorothy Day - the 1920's and 30's social activist - and describes the process that she changed from a journalist to a Catholic social aftivist, including her romance with two men and the birth of her daughter.
I have not known anything about Dorothy Day before seeing this film - so it was simply interesting to learn about her. But I cannot say that film itself is attractive and impressive. Somtimes very monotonous, and even boring.

In this film, Lenny played Dorothy Day's second boyfriend who is the father of her daughter. He was very sincere man and an intellecutual idealist, but fataly lacked the ability to act for his idea. Also he could not understand Dorothy's spiritual growth - and it caused their parting.
